Le département de Alpes-de-Haute-Provence en bref
Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (04), dont la préfecture est Digne-les-Bains, fait partie de la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Avec 10 958 autorisations d'urbanisme délivrées sur 198 communes, le département se situe derrière Bouches-du-Rhône (50 758 dossiers) parmi les départements de sa région.
L'activité est relativement concentrée : Manosque cumule à elle seule 849 dossiers . Digne-les-Bains et Sisteron complètent le podium. Les 10 premières communes concentrent 35 % des autorisations du département.
Côté construction, 4,3 millions de m² de surface de plancher ont été autorisés, pour 13 030 logements. Le pic d'activité se situe en 2022 (1 086 autorisations), avec depuis une tendance à la baisse : -82,7 % en 2026.
